Shawn Amaro started his career in sunny California but fell in love with the city that never sleeps. His love of acting and food told him that New York was the perfect place to do both, often at the same time. He can navigate his way through the city using restaurants the way a sailor uses the stars. 

Shawn’s relaxed and pleasant demeanor keeps the audience and his host at ease while conducting all the technical aspects of the Spotlight’s three camera shoot. With a large passion for music, he currently performs with the musical improv group Los Banditos Del Canto where he steals your heart with song. You can see him hosting Variety Underground along side Sean Taylor and performing at most of the NYC improv theaters.
